Tribute To Luther Vandross Featuring Reggie Deas & Deas Guyyz

Reggie, born in Newberry, SC, attributes his musical success to his father who was also a singer and percussionist, and his mother who encouraged him to sing at every given opportunity. He began taking serious interest in singing while attending Newberry College on a football scholarship.
Upon graduation, Reggie moved to Savannah and began working for the Savannah-Chatham County school system as an educator and coach and currently is employed by Beaufort County Schools in the same capacity. On weekends… Show more he continued to sing at private functions and in 1995 he began singing with several bands in the Savannah area.
In 1996, pursuing his first love, singing, he decided to join a Savannah blues band called The Bluesonics and sang with them for four years. He then moved to Hilton Head Island in 1999 and joined Nu World Beat which eventually led to the formation of Deas-Guyz in 2001.
